Fantastic $30 Map-Making Humble Bundle Is a Online Gaming Game Master's Fantasy

Following a brief run back in April, this cartography software collection has returned with an encore available until Dec. 2. Hailed as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" developed by ProFantasy Software over the years, the complete package carries a value of over $1,300. Additionally, there exist multiple package options offered in this deal.

Primary Feature

The standout feature is definitely a lifetime license for Campaign Cartographer 3+, an industry-standard cartography program which enables users to create everything from fantasy overworld maps, smaller regional maps, city maps, and most notably, tactical combat environments.

A regional fantasy map created using the CC3+ software platform.

Bundle Tiers

Basic Package

The cheapest bundle tier, starting at just one dollar, includes only four from the thirty-nine available products: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Castle Source Maps, Urban Source Maps. This package suits existing CC3+ users, but it does offer fresh fantasy design elements for overworld maps, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens compatible with online gaming platforms, more than two dozen top-down castle layouts with 470 associated map tokens, eight complete urban centers, and more than 70 urban floorplans.

Intermediate Package

The eight-product collection for at least $15 is where things get more interesting through inclusion of permanent CC3+ access, the first Annual volume, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. Cartographer's Annual is the annual collection from ProFantasy's long-running monthly subscription service featuring multiple CC3+ enhancements including map packs and additional utilities. Isometric Cities lets you present urban areas in 3D perspective using angled views from multiple angles. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping comprises 760 pages suitable for novices and experts, full of tips and tutorials covering cartography techniques.

Full Package

For a minimum of $30, the comprehensive package includes all the following:

  • Fractal Terrains 3+
  • Dungeon Creation Tool
  • Urban Planning Software
  • Cosmographer 3
  • Perspectives 3
  • Scene Builder
  • Character Artist 3
  • Symbol Set 2: Fantasy Floorplans

  • Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities
  • Tome of Ultimate Mapping
  • Fantasy Landscape Symbols
  • Monster Token Set 1
  • Fortress Source Maps
  • Source Maps: Cities!

All 17 volumes of Cartographer's Annual are included here, alongside a slew of other resource and asset packs enabling creators to craft complete solar systems, or just go all-in on classic fantasy realm creation: combat arenas, dungeons, cities, and land masses in multiple viewpoints. You can even design character illustrations. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the complete collection is so worth it, particularly for mappers who have only the annual CC3+ license and want to upgrade to lifetime. But it's obviously an even better deal for cartography beginners since it includes introductory guides to help you get started. The sole limitation though the purchase is available across platforms, the software is only usable with Windows systems.

Philanthropic Aspect

Similar to previous bundles, part of every purchase supports charitable organizations. In this instance, that's Save the Children, an organization founded by Eglantyne Jebb in 1919 focused on improving the lives of children worldwide via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response. Package customization options is toward the top of the page, though users may also choose any amount for a donation on the right side of the page. There's also an "Adjust Donation" drop-down just below that, allowing you to adjust how much of your donation goes to Humble, Profantasy, and Save the Children.
